Motor circuit breaker
Condor motor circuit breaker: Protect electric motors against overload
The motor circuit breaker from Condor offers reliable protection for electric motors against thermal overload in the windings and in the event of failure or overload of one or more phases. These circuit breakers continuously monitor the current consumption of the electric motor and check the operating phases of the three-phase motor.
Important note: If the residual currents between the phases are too high, the electric motor is stopped immediately. The tripping time depends on the current, the temperature and the setting of the tripping range. It is essential that the current values set in the Condor motor-protective circuit-breaker are below the critical hazard values of the electric motor. A three-phase motor should always be operated with a motor protection switch to prevent damage. Electric motors can be monitored in various ways, for example using a bimetal or a PTC thermistor.
Condor pressure switch OKE / MKE series
The Condor OKE2 / MKE2 series of motor-protective circuit-breakers is specially designed for monitoring three-phase AC motors. The OKE2 series is triggered thermo-mechanically by means of bimetal. The motor-protective circuit-breakers in the MKE series also have magnetic tripping. In addition, the Condor TFE2 motor-protective circuit-breaker ensures electronic tripping by means of a thermal contact in the electric motor. The Condor motor-protective circuit-breaker OKN is triggered thermally and also offers phase failure protection.
Rely on the quality and reliability of Condor motor-protective circuit-breakers to maximize the service life of your electric motors and ensure the operational safety of your systems.
