Pressure Sensors
Efficient monitoring of the line pressure in compressed air and gas systems is essential to sustainably reduce energy consumption. Our experience with pressure sensors shows that most machines require less than 6 bar overpressure. Reducing the nominal pressure can lower power consumption, minimize leakages and extend the service life of the compressor. A reduction of just 1 bar can lead to power savings of 6-8%.
To keep the nominal pressure low, it is important to monitor the pressure loss across the filters. If the pressure drop is above 0.3 bar, the filters need to be replaced. Our (differential) pressure sensors are ideal for accurately monitoring these key figures and realizing the associated savings potential.
