KAESER Kompressoren SE
KAESER COMPRESSORS, a family-owned company, is one of the world's leading manufacturers and providers of products and services in the field of compressed air. Founded in 1919 as a machine workshop, Kaeser now operates at two production sites in Germany and employs approximately 7,500 people worldwide.
Energy-saving refrigeration dryer - saves even more energy
KAESER type: TA 5 saves even more energy
Compared to a conventional control system, the SECOTEC refrigeration dryer saves a great deal of energy during work breaks, periods of low capacity utilization and downtimes due to intermittent operation. The control system works without fixed run-on times. The integrated cold accumulator guarantees that the refrigeration dryer is always ready for operation. Added to this is the low differential pressure of the SECOTEC compressed air dryers. This means that the maximum overpressure of the compressor can be set lower, thus saving additional energy.
Sensational savings experts with a stable pressure dew point
SECOTEC refrigeration dryers (compressed air dryers) from the TA-TE series dry compressed air down to a pressure dew point of 3 °C, thanks to highly efficient accumulator control, adapted to demand and therefore particularly economical. A generously dimensioned cold accumulator ensures gentle operation and a stable pressure dew point.
- Enormous savings potential in partial load operation and during work breaks
- Particularly robust and low-maintenance system design
Your advantages
Energy saving: Thanks to energy-saving control, excess cooling capacity can be temporarily stored in the thermal store during partial load operation and retrieved for drying without consuming electricity.
Lasting reliability: The high-quality refrigeration circuit of the SECOTEC refrigeration dryers allows safe use up to an ambient temperature of +43 °C. The large condensate separator and the ECO-DRAIN electronic condensate drain ensure reliable removal of condensate in all load phases. The electrical design complies with the EN 624-1 standard
Ingeniously service-friendly: The housing design, optimized for easy access to all parts, significantly reduces labour costs during maintenance and inspection work.
Optional version with potential-free contacts available
Energy saving potential*: 4.51,- €/1a
Reduction in CO2 emissions: 4.51,- €/1a (1 kWh corresponds to .6 t CO2 emissions)
*compared to a version without energy-saving control with the same power consumption, over 1 year, 1 load hour and 876 operating hours per year, .2 €/kWh
